Big Big Train – The Likes of Us (2024) Review
Summary
16 albums is a massive achievement for any band, especially one that has seen a number of band members come and go since their conception in 1990. However, this does not hinder Bournemouth Prog Rock icons Big Big Train who have delivered yet another tantalisingly refreshing album aptly titled 'The Likes of Us'. Infusing synth elements, powerful leads and bright, vibrant rhythms will have you tapping along and thoroughly engaged from start to end. Good
- Silky smooth transitions
- Fun, vibrant sound is refreshing from the stereotypical UK Prog Rock scene
Bad
- Would love some heavy distortion sections
