Kyros – Mannequin (2024) Review
Summary
Late to the party on this album, but better late than never. Kyros' fourth album, Mannequin, brings their uniquely iconic Synth Prog Rock sound back and kicks it up a gear. Infusing a myriad of influences, instruments and vocal range, Kyros delivers a punchy, bouncy, technical progressive sound scape which will take you in all kinds of directions. Although its multiple layers and complex sound can be a lot to take in, for fans of the band and the genre alike. Good
- Sleak, iconic Kyros sound developed across earlier catalogue
- Wide range of instruments and vibrant sounds
- High Calibre Synth Journey
Bad
- Not the strongest opening track I've ever heard
- Too electric poppy at times for my own liking
