All That Remains – AntiFragile (2025) Review

Summary
Boy oh boy. There are some huge tracks in this one - if you've listened to the album already, you know which ones I'm talking about - and if you haven't yet, you will. And I'm going to be honest with you: it's impacting my overall score. Now, AntiFragile as a whole is a solid album full of what you expect from All That Remains, and I'm really satisfied with what's been released. The melodies are nicely complex and memorable; the rhythms are punchy, aggressive, and measured; the vocals are great all the way through; the songs are eclectic, and from start to finish I was having a great time. If there isn't at least one song on this album that you enjoy, drink some water and then listen to it again.
Good
  • Phil's vocals are great, with some very singable sections
  • Solid melodies and leads
  • Great riffing in general
  • Drumming does a great job binding the rhythms and leads together
Bad
  • Some of the softer choruses fall flat
8.2

The resident cave dwelling, chug loving, prog snob that doesn't like prog. You'll find me overindulging in mediocre music and rating it way too high.
