Assemble The Chariots – Unyielding Night (2024) Review

Summary
What can be said about Unyielding Night that hasn't been ree'd at Lorna Shore since their symphonic evolution? It's melodic, aggressive, and has some of the nastiest transitions and riffs of the year that still live rent free in my fat head. MY REIGN BEGINS! (insert filthy riff)
Good
  • Huge riffs
  • A captivating blend of melody and aggression
  • Some of the hardest moments of the year
  • In-your-face snare
  • Very fitting vocals for the intensity
Bad
  • Some parts fall a little flat - largely unmemorable
  • Difference between the best and worst songs is large

Composition - 8.1
Written by
The resident cave dwelling, chug loving, prog snob that doesn't like prog. You'll find me overindulging in mediocre music and rating it way too high.
