"Something different" aptly describes Eidola's latest album 'Mend'. The issue with different is, there's different good and different bad, and for my own taste, this leans towards the latter. That being said, the album isn't entirely without its merits. Kaleidoscope as a standalone track is very enjoyable and the band is talented musically, but I felt let down in too many areas to give this a stellar review knowing they had the capability to do more.
