Teramaze – Desire Colours N Lust (2025) Review
Summary
Teramaze has been very active compared to most over their musical career. That being said, it does not always equate to top notch work. Their latest EP, 'DESIRE COLOURS N LUST' is great in parts, with fun leads, rhythms and vocal range but unfortunately feels a bit unfinished, almost like a mixed bag of different genres to appease a wider audience rather than focusing on a genre range they are better at. That being said, when they do work within their strengths, they can produce some very enjoyable, chuggy progressive metal. Good
- Sinister is a standout song
- good progressions here and there
- vocals powerful when the right music is backing
Bad
- Album is a bit all over the place
- melodically dull in parts
- lyrically clumsy
