Voidfallen – The Rituals of Resilience (2025) Album Review
Summary
Melodic death metal. A genre which meant so much to so many in its first rise to prevalence and one I am happy to say, has continued to go strong as new bands come through and take it to higher heights. Voidfallen's new album does just that. Modernises 'Melodeath', infusing symphonics, piano and progressive elements to create a modern soundscape all fans of the genre will love. A thoroughly enjoyable listen from start to finish. Good
- Multi-layered melodies with a wide variety of influences and sounds appeals to most metal listeners
- Brutal vocals and drums
- Seamlessly integrates a wide range of metal sub genres
Bad
- Could use more diverse leads or rhythms
- Vocal range could be wider to help differentiate the songs more
